A Top-Class Sales Tool

When planning the market launch on the occasion of a fair, MAVIG – a specialist in personal protection at workplaces with increased risk levels – intended to show an interactive presentation of the new monitor carrier GD60. The sales tool should display the monitor carrier all angles in 3D and also be individually operated via touchscreen.

Starting from STEP data, a 3D model was designed and animated. The interactive control was solved via multiple hot spots. Every hot spot had its own 3D movie clips assigned to it, so that all directions of movement could be shown without collision.

A multi-purpose tool: As an eye catcher at the fair, the tool invites visitors to experience its functionality on their own. When talking to the customers, the 3D animation serves as a structuring element, replacing time consuming explanations by one single sight. Even without sales personnel, this sales tool does what it is intended to do: it sells.
